RYDER - 13yr 14.3 hands Gentle Ranch Gelding

Looking for a gentle, versatile ranch horse? Meet Ryder! With a soft feel and more buttons than your typical experienced ranch horse, Ryder has proven himself to be a great ride for various experience levels. He would be excellent for someone wanting to get into local level cow sorting since he has a really nice cut on him to easily break a cow away from the herd and keep up with them. We've ridden Ryder in a variety of bits and he's even done well riding bridless, stopping easily off your seat.

On the ground, he's a complete gentleman, often picking up his next foot before you even get to it. He's a safe horse, too, stopping and thinking before reacting, and moves beautifully off the leg. Ryder has experience with all kinds of ranch chores, from roping to doctoring cows to gathering cattle. He's calm, alert, and easy to get along with, hopping right into the trailer and standing tied for hours. He's also been hauled extensively and doesn't mind any type of horse or stock trailer. On the trail, Ryder shines. He's been exposed to barking dogs, snarling dogs, cows, buffalo, cars, trucks, goats, donkeys, dirt bikes, quads, UTVs, tractors, farm equipment, welding, jackhammering - you name it, he's seen it.

With a slow sitting or extended posting trot, smooth comfortable lope, and confident walk, he's the perfect mount for any trail ride. Looking to take your riding to the next level? Ryder's the horse for you. He'd be great for an advanced beginner or intermediate rider who wants a safe mount for trail but wants some buttons to be able to do more than just trail ride. Although he's been ridden by beginners before and is safe enough for anyone to ride, he moves off the leg and seat easily, so it's easy for a beginner to accidentally ask him for too much. Rest assured that Ryder is pre-vet checked and up to date on teeth, vaccines, worming, and farrier work. Don't miss out on this phenomenal trail horse - he could take you in any direction you'd like!
